I was a bit skeptical of how the ShotKam would work in the field while upland hunting. I didn't think the camera would wake up in time to capture my shots. The description says you may need to do something to make sure it is awake. So far I have done nothing except turn it on before entering the field. Each video starts showing the sky because that is where my barrel is pointed. Then, the view shows the bird with the red dot, and I can hear the shots in the audio, and see where my gun was pointed when I shot. So far, it hasn't made me a better shot, but I can see why I miss (most times)!

I bought the ShotKam to use for shooting trap and skeet and after a month I am already shooting 5 shots better.

The Mini has helped me shoot at a more consistent level. I love this thing. This is the camera that will make the most of your range time. The ShotKam folks have done it right this time. Still amazed how they stuffed this all into such a small camera.

I bought this for my son for his birthday and he loves it. He's had a ShotKam before, but this one is so much lighter and smaller, it's amazing. The customer service was so helpful too.

Absolutely a brilliant piece of equipement. I purchased the ShotKam mini as wanted to minimise the additional weight to my Beretta DT11, once fitted and re balance the gun, you would hardly know it was there. I purchased this purely as a training aid and it certainly achieves that better than my expectation. Playback in whatever speed and freeze frame. You actually see the wad if you miss!!! Thoroughly recommended as a v positive benefit to clay shooting.
