I bought this for my son as he recently joined his schools trap team. We've seen a huge improvement in just a few weeks. He has become very popular, with all the other kids asking to borrow it.

This is my second shotkam I had a gen 3 before and I thought that was good but this mini is far better all round they really are a good peace of kit.

Man, I really love the new Mini. So much smaller and lighter than my old Gen 3. I love that there is no compromise with features when compared to the larger Gen 4. My only concern is the battery. Seems fine for clays but had died about an hour early on both my hunting trips. I might need to invest in a portable battery charger.

I'm fairly new to target shooting. Fortunately, my local range had an excellent range officer that was also an instructor and was able to point out what I was doing wrong. Unfortunately, he recently retired. His replacements are good but can't fill his shoes. That's when I ordered the Shotkam Mini. Being able to review my hits and misses has allowed me to see whether I'm ahead or behind, or above or below, or if I'm following through, or canting the gun. It is definitely helping me to continually get better. And the folks at Shotkam have been extremely helpful and responsive whenever I had any questions, both before and after the sale.

I got my Gen 4 for Christmas last year and just started using it for turkey season. The video quality is amazing. I tuned off the slo-mo video since I am not using the ShotKam to train. Make sure you change this setting first, because I don't think there is a way to change it for videos you've already recorded. I would recommend over a GoPro, which is what I used to use.
